Good Morning Veterans! As y’all know, I announced that I want to see many of us give our time and talents in providing a resource of volunteers for Girls State.
Whether you can only help behind the scenes, or a day or night here or there, or full blown I have time here I am ,
We need you!!
This is an awesome opportunity to mentor these brilliant Young Ladies (many of them already preparing for the Armed Forces either directly joining; ROTC or applying and being accepted to one of our Service Academies.)
In February I am hoping that we work out a date with the Girls State Coordinators In a training session that will give us a clear view of Who, What, Where, When and Why of Girls State.
First and Foremost, I need a list of ALL VETERANS interested in being a Volunteer for Girls State. I need to know by November 15 (DEC) So I can plan the next event based on the numbers. Even if you are on the fence, not sure, but maybe just a little bit interested TURN YOUR NAME IN.
