At the April 17, 2026, general membership meeting, the Post was presented with a framed portrait of General George Washington. Howard Booth introduced the Color Guard of the southern Maryland Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution who appeared in period uniforms of the colonial militia. They unveiled the portrait and provided background of the organization, their purpose, their uniforms, and equipment. The Color Guard’s appearance provided dignity to the ceremony. Post 206 is grateful for this wonderful donation and commends Howard Booth for his efforts.
