Our Post Resource Officer is a volunteer who can assist with the basics of filing for benefits, which forms to complete and where to forward them as well as providing information on additional local services to lend assistance to our veterans. Currently we are looking for a new Resource Officer.

We hope you’re aware of the free service for durable medical equipment provided by the Maryland Department of Aging. The warehouse is located next to the Cheltenham Cemetery, located on Route 301 South. The equipment is FREE to any Maryland resident. They will also accept donations if you have any equipment that is no longer needed. The facility can be contacted at 240-230-8000 or dme.mdoa@maryland.gov.
