Our Post Resource Officer can help with filing for benefits, including which forms to fill out and where to send them. They also provide information about other local services that can offer support.
Our new Resource Officer is Gerald (Jerry) George. He is a Marine Veteran from the early 1980s who transferred to the post from Disney Bell Post 66 in Bowie, MD. He is a past Chapter Service Officer and past Commander of Omaha Beach Chapter 7 DAV in Bowie, MD. He has also been active with the Marine Corps League, having served as Commandant of the Free State Marine Detachment and athe Department of MD Adjutant. Nemo Resideo.

VA Women Veterans Call Center
Free and confidential service to help women navigate VA, point you in
the right direction, and connect you with the Women Veterans Program
Manager at your local VA medical center. “Call as many times as you

center is open.

The Maryland Department of Aging offers a free service for durable medical equipment. Their warehouse is located next to the Cheltenham Cemetery, located on Route 301 South. The equipment is FREE to any Maryland resident. They will also accept donations if you have any equipment that is no longer needed.
